Commercial Property Finance - How does it work?

  • Commercial mortgages are available to a range of businesses and lenders will usually fund up to 75% of purchase costs with terms of up to 30 years. Affordability is based on your business’ profitability and its ability to make the monthly payments.

  • Property development finance is a type of short-term finance that’s used for the development of a new or existing building project. Lenders advance up to 70% of the gross development value, and terms can be up to 24 months.

  • Portfolio finance is a type of long-term business loan designed for property investors who have a number of rental properties. You can consolidate borrowing into one loan and serviceability is based on rental income.

  • Auction finance is used to arrange funding in advance of an auction, while bridging finance is a type of short-term finance designed for the purchase and renovation of property. The lender will take a first charge on your property.
