“Refer A Friend” Promotion

1. Promotion. Funding Options Limited (“Funding Options”) offers cash reward to businesses who meet the Eligibility Criteria outlined in clause 4 below (“Refer A Friend Promotion” or “Promotion”). This Refer a Friend Promotion is in effect as of 01/08/2025.

2. Terms. The Refer a Friend Promotion is subject to these terms and conditions (“Promotion Terms”).

3. Definitions. For the purposes of these Promotion Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them hereinbelow:

   1. “Referrer” shall mean an active limited company registered in Companies House or a sole trader who is introducing another limited company to Funding Options for the purpose of exploring funding opportunities. The referral must be submitted through the process designated by Funding Options (e.g., online form, email introduction, or unique referral code, make sure to follow the designated process strictly);

   2. “Referee” shall mean an active limited company registered in Companies House that is introduced by the Referrer to Funding Options for the purpose of obtaining funding through it. To qualify as a Referee the company must be a registered and active UK limited company; It must engage with Funding Options as a direct result of the introduction from the Referrer; It must successfully pass all identity, verification and Know Your Customer due diligence checks; It must not be the same person or entity as the Referrer.

   3. “Successful Referral”: A successful referral occurs when all of the following conditions are met: (i) The Referee, after being introduced by the Referrer, completes a funding application through Funding Options with the panel of lenders and finance providers that the broker partner with; (ii) gets approved for and accepts a funding offer from a finance provider/lender which is arranged through Funding Options; (iii) the funding is disbursed to the Referee within 3 calendar months as of the date of introduction and in the case of property finance within 6 calendar months as of the date of introduction; (iv) all parties meet any compliance or due diligence requirements (including such of finance provider/lender, if applicable); (v) are compliant with all applicable Funding Options’ or funding entities’ terms and conditions and do not engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity. 

4. Eligibility Criteria. In order for the Referrer to be eligible for the Rewards set out in clause 5, the following requirements shall be met:

   1. The Referrer should make an introduction of a Referee to Funding Options after 00:00 on 01/08/2025 (“Promotional Period”). Funding Options and/or its affiliate Tide Platform Limited (“Tide”) reserves their right to perform any due diligence checks before engaging in any business activity with the Referee.  Funding Options and Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible if any applicant has not successfully passed any verification and Know Your Customer due diligence checks.

   2. The Referee should complete the funding application process and get funding approval and disbursement through Funding Options thus turning into a Successful Referral within the Promotional Period. The approval for funding and its disbursement are entirely dependent on the respective lender or finance provider, their own eligibility criteria, approval process and verifications. Funding Options shall not be responsible for any Referee not becoming a Successful Referral by not getting an approval from any of the lenders or finance providers who partner with Funding Options. To qualify for the Reward, the funding must remain active and in good standing at the time the Reward is paid. If the funding is withdrawn, closed, cancelled, or otherwise inactive before the Reward is paid, the referral will be deemed ineligible and no reward will be granted.

   3. The Referrer shall either have an active existing Tide Business Account with Tide Platform Limited or should download the Tide app and follow the steps to complete  checks (“KYC”) and successfully open/submit an application for an account after the start of the Promotional Period. Tide reserves its right to open a Tide Business Account for the Referrer only after they have passed all KYC, identity and due diligence checks as per the Tide Membership Terms. Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible that any applicant has not been approved for a Tide account. For more details on eligibility - see here. 

   4. The Referrer shall hold an active Tide Business Account and be compliant with all applicable standard terms and conditions for Tide accounts (“Tide Terms”) until receiving the relevant Rewards under this Promotion.

   5. The Referrer should be a business (sole trader or a registered limited company) and should not be: (i) an employee of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; (ii) employee of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or (iii) members of the immediate families or households of the above (i) and (ii). (each of these sub-clauses referred separately hereinbelow as “Eligibility Criteria”).

5. Rewards

   1. Each Referrer with respect to whom Eligibility Criteria under clause 4 above have been completed will earn a monetary reward that will be applied to the Referrer’s opened Tide Business Account (“ Reward”) as follows: 

      1. For funding of a Successful Referral in the amount of £5,000 - £9,999: £200 Reward

      2. For funding of a Successful Referral in the amount of £10,000 - £19,999: £500 Reward

      3. For funding of a Successful Referral in the amount of £20,000 - £49,999:  £1,000 Reward

      4. For funding of a Successful Referral in the amount of £50,000 - £499,999: £1,500 Reward

      5. For funding of a Successful Referral in the amount above £500,000+: 30 % of the commission earned by Funding Options from finance providers under the Successful Referral funding transactions, subject to the Referrer being further onboarded as a partner of Funding Options by following the process outlined at https://www.fundingoptions.com/partners/advisor/#advisorSignupForm.

   2. If a Referee is invited by more than one Referrer to Funding Options, the Reward will be sent to the Referrer whose Referral Code was used by the Referee.

   3. It can take up to 8 weeks after a funding disbursement to a Successful Referral for the requirements to be validated and the relevant Reward to be transferred to the Referrer’s Tide Business Account.

   4. The Reward is attributed per Successful Referral. 

   5. The Reward is payable on a one-time basis only. No further rewards or commissions shall be due for any subsequent drawdowns, top-ups, renewals, refinancing, or extensions of the funding, regardless of whether they arise from the same facility or a new agreement with the same Referee.

6. Referral Reward Conditions To qualify for the Reward, the Referee’s funding must remain active and in good standing at the time the Reward is paid. If it is withdrawn, closed, cancelled, or otherwise inactive before the Reward is paid, the referral will be deemed ineligible and no Reward will be granted.

7. Miscellaneous Important Terms

   1. By submitting a referral, you warrant that you have obtained the Referee’s prior consent to share their personal data (including, but not limited to, name, email address and/or phone number) with Funding Options for the purposes of administering the referral programme. You also confirm that such disclosure is compliant with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

   2. The referral process must not form part of your regular business activities. The Promotion may not be used as a tool to generate revenue or acquire customers as part of a commercial enterprise. 

   3. We encourage participants to check these Promotion Terms regularly as we reserve the right to amend the Terms and to withdraw referral schemes, competitions and promotions at any time. Participants’ continued use of Funding Options and Tide’s services shall constitute their acceptance of any such amendments.

   4. Funding Options reserves the right to reverse any monetary Reward a participant receives during this Promotion if (i) the Reward was earned fraudulently, (ii) it is found that the applicant has breached the Promotion Terms, the Tide Terms in relation to holding a Tide Business Account, or (iii) a technical error has occurred when applying the Reward.

   5. If Funding Options has reasonable grounds to believe that a participant has engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to deliberately mislead Tide Member Support to gain the Reward or to use the reward as a way of business and generating revenue), Funding Options may in its sole discretion take any actions it sees fit in the circumstances.

   6. Funding Options and Tide give no warranty and accept no liability in connection with this Promotion or other services/products or the participant’s use of them.

   7. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Funding Options or Tide offer or promotion in relation to the opening of a new Tide account.
