Our Company
Based in London, Funding Options Limited provides firms and their trusted advisors with a range of online tools to manage funding and cash flow, dealing with key business challenges such as getting paid faster and accessing the right finance products and providers.In 2011, Funding Options was a winner of a UK government competition to identify and support London’s most promising new digital companies, being described as something that could have “a very positive impact on the UK economy”.
In 2012, Funding Options was a global finalist in a competition run by SWIFT (the organisation through which banks do business) to identify the world’s most promising new financial technology firms. In the same year, our service for accountants became an affinity partner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a global leader in the profession.

Leadership Team
Conrad Ford Managing Director
Conrad is a Chartered Management Accountant who served in the group strategy department of a leading global bank, before joining their fast-growing technology subsidiary where he served as COO during a period in which it won multiple awards. Conrad has a Masters from Cambridge University.
Alan Morgan Non-Executive Director
Alan is a prominent angel investor. He is currently Chairman of MMC Ventures, an £80 million venture capital fund, and Non-Executive Director of AXA Investment Managers. Previously he was head of McKinsey’s EMEA financial services practice and a board member of the McKinsey Investment Office.
Mark Halstead Non-Executive Director
Mark is Managing Director of Red Flag Alert, the credit risk database provider, and represents the commercial interests of major shareholder Ric Traynor on the board. Funding Options works closely with Red Flag Alert, which is a leading provider to professional services firms.
Brian Palmer Non-Executive Director
Brian has held senior roles and directorships in the business information, credit and insurance sectors, including Registry Trust, Dun & Bradstreet, Equifax, Credit Services Association, Graydon and Atradius He is Independent Advisor to the Business Information Providers’ Association and runs a specialist management consultancy.
Benjamin Sims
Benjamin is a technology specialist with extensive experience in enterprise web applications and data acquisition. After graduating from University College London, he worked as a programme manager with the UN and later gained a law degree while running a successful consultancy.
Emily Trant
Emily worked at Digital Look, a financial information provider, from its early days to its later sale to CMC Markets, holding a number of senior roles with both companies. Originally from Canada, Emily holds a Bachelors in Economics from the University of British Columbia
